Reference Check

With each applicant we require a minimum of three personal and three professional references. Before an applicant is hired we check with each and every reference to get an idea of the character of the applicant. We want to get an idea of who this person is and what they are about. Each reference check is rated on a scale of five with the professional references having a greater weight than the personal.

Through OPEN online.com we check the background of every good candidate. Through this we are able to perform a regional wide background check. This step allows us to investigate traffic violations, credit mishaps, and criminal activity in the past ten years. At all times we want to make sure that the candidate is someone we want representing First Response, Inc.

If the officer is a patrol candidate, their three year vehicle history is researched through out insurance agent. Knowing that both our¡¦s and our clients reputation is always in jeopardy we want to be positive that the person we are putting on the road in a marked vehicle will exemplify professionalism at all times.
