Dave Foglio,
President
Portland, OR. Dave is a hands-on leader who entered the security
profession after a highly successful business career spanning 20
years, in which he developed extraordinary entrepreneurial and
business skills. In 1989 he began First Response, Inc. with a
single patrol vehicle, and no clients. Today, the company employs
hundreds of security officers working from 3 offices throughout the
Northwest, rolls out 23 patrol vehicles daily, responds to dozens
of calls from over 4,500 patrols per week, provides over 12,000
hours of guard services per month, and ranks as one of the largest
security providers in the Pacific Northwest with a reputation for
unimpeachable quality and performance. Over the past 11 years, Dave
has expanded the operation to include the highly successful First
Response Systems, a dedicated video, access control, burglary, and
fire alarm systems company primarily servicing the commercial
market. In 2004, Dave moved closer to his dream when he introduced
a high-tech communications and video monitoring concept facility
called iWatch Communications, Inc. which received its UL
certification in 2005 and today employs sophisticated
state-of-the-art software and communications equipment and monitors
thousands of client accounts.
Damien Foglio, CPP,
Senior Director of Services
Seattle, WA. Damien has a passion for customer service and sales
which has made him a valuable asset to a client services driven
organization such as First Response. Combined with a Bachelors
Degree from Seattle Pacific University in Business Administration
with a concentration in Management and a Minor in Economics he
provides a business approach to satisfy each client. Damien was
hired in May of 1998 as the first customer service representative
and moved slowly up handling the day-to-day duties of the Seattle
Branch since January 2000. Damien now overseas all of the services
provided by First Response with a knowledge and insight as to the
most efficient and productive forms of business. In May of 2006,
Damien achieved the certification of Certified Protection
Professional through ASIS International.
Derek Bliss, CPP, Branch
Manager
Portland, OR. A highly proactive, hands-on security manager who
thrives on the challenges of customer support, Derek joined the
company in 1998 and has been the primary force behind the
development of the company’s customer service
and quality control initiatives which have gained industry-wide
recognition. An expert and lecturer in conflict resolution, armed
security operations, and facilities management, Derek is Board
Certified in Security Management as a Certified Protection
Professional (CPP), actively involved in the Downtown and Lloyd
District Security Network, was an armed officer, is an active ASIS
member and former chapter chairperson, and holds a Bachelor Degree
in Criminology. As a member of the DPSST Private Security Policy
Committee, Derek serves as Chairperson for the Armed Sub-Committee
representing Armed Security for the State of
Oregon.
Jesse Foglio, Systems
Operations Manager
Portland, OR. Jesse is responsible and manages the day to day
duties handling for the Systems Group of First Response. Jesse has
been with First Response for about 5 years.
Jesse has a degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Management
with a minor in Pre-Law from Oregon State University. In addition,
he is an Apprentice 4 on his way to becoming a Journeyman
Electrician.
